I’ve been working with Rosie Kay Dance Company again for the latest production MK Ultra. The work is a high energy, supercharged mash-up of thrilling dance, music and imagery inspired by the bizarre realm of pop culture mind control conspiracies.

The soundtrack for MK ULTRA is a pulsating mash-up of trap, footwork, electronic sounds and manipulated samples. It’s music that makes you want to move and drives forward the dancers’ movements, much like the all-controlling MK ULTRA programmes supposedly dictating the actions of today’s celebrity icons.  The score fluctuates between the fast paced EDM (electronic dance music) tracks and my contrasting original sound, which has for the most part used the EDM tracks as a starting point. At different points in the score, the music takes on different roles from creating a specific environment to offering a deeper insight into the characters. It’s been a brilliant show to work on and has a fantastic collaborative team including Louis Price, Gary Card and Adam  Curtis. Take a sneak preview at the trailer and tour dates are listed below.
